I was learning the ins and outs of newbie C++ today/ Sunday. Particularly the WinAPI (Windows Programming Interface). I have begun making pictures that are pure code and run as applications on Windows. This is not an endorsement for Windows by the way, personally I wish I could do cross platform code, but I do not know how yet- give me time I am only a code-kid.

Otherwise I just spent the day reading and writing on the computer. I did read a little of my 'Buying food in Japan Guide'. The intro told me that there are approx 100 characters in the Japanese alphabet and some of them have 3 or more pronunciations. Hopefully learning Japanese is not any more complicated than learning a computer language. I wonder how you say **"hello world" in Japanese?

This blog is a little late actually. I am writing it on Monday. This is because I did not have access to the internet on Sunday. Well that's it. I will write again in a few hours when I have something to say about today.

**When learning a new language the first programming task is often to print the words "hello world" on the screen.
