Art Geekin' Day

Submitted by Alex Gibson on Tue, 15/02/2005 - 18:37.

Today I learnt how to install and configure Apache 2.0 Web Server with PHP on XP- manually. Also swapped exhibition date to march 14. All systems go for the show. Now I have to hang out a load of washing. It is not going to dry. It is 6:30pm on a cold summer eve in Melbourne.

Art Geekin' Day

Submitted by Emma Busowsky on Sun, 20/02/2005 - 20:02.

Hey now. I too had an art geekin day though this was perhaps more illustrated in my outfit from the "at home studio wear" range, ie a pair of long johns and paint stained spencer, than in "configuring apache 2.0 webserver with php" whatever that means. (Still slogging it out with the old brush and canvas, Im afraid.) Though delighted to be invited to post comments on ultra hip site by artist friend, and have enough technical knowldge at least to know what a blog is. Not sure why have reverted into a Bridgit Jones style vernacular but should be about time for a glass of chardies??

I don't know a thing about Japan aside from some incredibly kinky heresay about nightclubs with elevated glass dancefloors complete with with defecating dancers..though this maybe no help to you and olivia, and suspect this more to the taste of high flying japanese business men looking to wind down (or something). Will put my ear to the ground and hopefully come up wth some useful information for you.

I dunno about geeky- sounds more sexy to me. Anyhoo, keep a lookout for me re: Japan, I'm there in less than 4 weeks. I am beginning to shit myself with excitment like a Japanese nightclub.
