Back at VCA for a day.

I am at the Victorian College of the Arts in the library playing with The Polyopticon Community administration settings, awaiting a meeting with Merrin Eirth to discuss a show that Azlan and I want to put on at the VCA Student Gallery. I thought I had finished coming to this uni when I graduated from here three months ago with a BFA (drawing). I am trying to change a booking from the Mar 19th to the Mar 14th at the VCA Student Gallery. I leave to Japan on Mar 17th and so I am trying to have a show swapped with the 3rd year drawing students show. It is schedualed for Mar 14th. Wish me luck, I had better go down and Merrin now, she will be waiting. Azlan will be waiting too. Oh yeah, this is my first blog too. How exciting!

The meeting went well. We are still not sure if we can change the booking though. The show is about the right wing Herald Sun columnist Andrew Bolt. I think he is an intersting study of inherent fascist culture within Australian/ Global society. We intend the show our reaction to the ideas and political positions he represents; abusive, conservative, unreasonable, rascist, sexist, etc.
