July 28th - 30th 2005

It was only a matter of time. yes it has happened. Olivia has left me. she got up at 6:30am this morning with her bags packed and left for her 7 day drama camp 3 hours train from tokyo. I miss her already but have begun to enjoy the freedom living alone can bring. I look forward to eating a lot of sweet, fatty food and not shaving my face. I think if i had a choice I would prefer she stayed, but I am happy that she is learning her art and that this will make her happy. She will be back in a week, so its not that long to be apart.

I am planning to buy a laptop on monday. I have my eye on a secondhand pentium 3 700mhz 256ram 10ghd. It is only about $300 and it will do everything i plan to use it for. Maybe Tom could help me put Linux on it when i get back?? I talk to you later about that Tom. I am busy prgramming for the moment. I have written a new program call 'brainstorm'. It is meant to organise lists of words with catagories and tags that allow the program to reorganise the list into many sublists. It is useful for developing abtract and germinal ideas.

Life is hot in Tokyo at the moment. I must say i am glad to miss the melbourne tunnel-like winter. It looks like we will be comeing back to Oz in november, so we will hve 3 summers in a row. I should have a tan by then you would think, wouldnt you?
