I will arriving at Narita airport at 6:30pm on Thursday the
17th March after a 9 hour flight. I am now taking proposals for what should be my first action. The winning applicant will have their proposal and several images of me doing what they wanted me to, in an image gallery on this site.

In this way you will be virtually in Japan continuing your 'evil' influence on me.

I would suggest...

Submitted by Anon on Tue, 08/03/2005 - 19:57.

After checking through customs head to the airport bus stop and catch the bus into Narita. Narita gets its name from the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, the impressive temple complex around which the town developed. Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is one of the centers of a thriving Buddhist sect, and more then 10 million Japanese make the pilgrimages to Narita every year. So there has to be something worth seeing. The story of the temple dates from 939ad and a pleasant variety of period architecture can be seen within the grounds.

Narita has bean noted for years for its resting places— teahouses, restaurants and traditional ryokan inns. For lunch stop in one of the small restaurants and watch as your choice of fresh water eel is slaughtered on the spot to prepare the rich unagi no kabayaki, a dish of barbequed eel over rice, which the Japanese eat for strength and stamina(this will be important after the flight).

Opposite the temple is the restaurant Kikuyu, Chrysanthemum House. The story goes that it was founded by a well-to-do villager as a place for his family and friends to eat. The restaurant is operated, and with great success, by the family’s eldest son, Tare(tell him i said hi), making him the 13th generation. He fondly displays the "Emperor's plaque" on the wall, a stamp of approval not lightly given.

After a snack try wondering through the traditional Japanese neighbourhoods surrounding the temple. Here you will get your first taste of traditional life in Japan. The meticulously manicured gardens, with locals meandering around in traditional dress going about their day to day lives.

For accommodation I suggest a ryokan inn as it is the best place to get a feel for Japanese tradition. The bath comes first, before anything else. Then when you are dressed in a house kimono(you can steal one of these for me and send it back), you return to your room where dinner is served. Somehow I think you will probably end up in hostels but I do recommend that you experience this (within your budget) sometime during the trip.

This will probably do for your first day after such a long flight so grab an early night and prepare for the next leg of your adventure...

Good.

That sounds good... except for the eel. I will be landing at 6:30pm and need to catch a bus at 9:30pm so all proposals need to fit into about a one hour time frame if you include picking up luggage and plenty of time to get the bus.

Otherwise, thank you manimal, a well thought through and researched proposal. I will go back to Narita to visit this temple you spoke of, but maybe not as the first thing I do.

The eel...

After I responded to your post yesterday I had craving for eel, big bad mistake as it made my GIBS (gibsons irritable bowel syndrome) very angry!

Although I cannot do the suggestions I promise to go to Narita and see this temple and post pics at some point. It may not be the first thing I do but it will be done.

Now, let's take a good look at the item of cartier love necklaces One. Different from the former Cartier where to buy cartier jewelry, cartier love bracelet replica

The much sought-after coco

Submitted by chanel bracelet onlinecheap on Tue, 11/10/2011 - 13:30.

The much sought-after coco chanel earrings, as with other Chanel brand fashion and perfume products, are famous for the unmistakeable chanel bracelet online
design. This design is formed by an interlocking double-C, one C faces
forwards the second faces backwards. The double C originates from the
full Chanel name, "Coco Chanel", although this full name is less
commonly used now. There are many products which bear the famous wholesale chanel bags online,
for example earrings and jewelry, sunglasses, watches, and fragrances.
The Chanel logo design is perfect for their range of replica chanel
necklace in particular. The Chanel logo is itself a work of art,
attractive simple and elegant, so why not use it as the focal point of
their jewelry range? Unfortunately the range has changed considerably
over time and now incorporates fake chanel earrings on sale and jewelry which is seen by some as "fussy" and overly complicated, relying less on the simple logo.
