I have been goanning on a bit about this australian championship for goanna pulling. As events turned out the town of Wooli cancelled the event for out of hand reasons. Not good enough I think. I was absolutely gutted when I found out. Why cant we relocate the championship to the rod laver arena or something like that I was thinking of asking the town's mayor Bruce Bird. I am goanna have to sort that out.
I just wanted to mentioned the show we had at seventh was alot of fun made a great presence down gertrude st for those two weeks. It was a great chance for me to sign off that last bit of work and incorporate the newer performative work I had been toying with. It was great to get that idea out there and be a work at the space on opening night.
I always find working together in setting up the space a very enjoyable experience. We are the web has been a great show and thanks alot Alex and Olivia for all your work.

Your performance went down well. The people that saw it were really interested and those that missed it showed disappointment when I described it to them. The strength of the show was the performative aspect of it. I have been thinking a lot about the role of theatricality in art - Michael Fried was wrong - I think its an important part of contemporary ideas.
