Concept:
It is the year 2027. Mitnick, a cracker and radical activist is living in a hegemonic dictatorship of the computer assisted Trade Nations of America (TNA). After being accused of violating copyright, sedition and public decency laws her brain is removed and put on life support. Her body is controlled with an artificial intelligence and her identity is filed as a 'missing person'. Her body is displaced in another country and used, by the TNA, as a surveillance mechanism and for cheap labour. Her brain, kept alive by a group of scientists working for the TNA, is used for research into so called "criminal consciousness'". Mitnick is one of thousands of disembodied consciousness' in the TNA lab.
During a lucid dream Mitnick realises that she is able to control her body and experience its sensory input remotely. She uses her phantom-agency to create 'Senseless'; a computer system which digitally records the thoughts, feelings, dreams and memories of disembodied consciousness' and perform them through Mitnick's body to give the disembodied a voice.

‘Senseless’ is an international collaborative script writing process that will be developed into a solo performance.
The writers work in collaboration to create a series of monologues. Each monologue represents a consciousness within 'Senseless'. These monologues are characters, events, dreams and memories of the following themes:

--- hegemony, dictatorship, censorship, surveillance
Becoming a disembodied consciousness:
--- the lead up to capture
--- how or which laws were violated
--- how the character was caught
Experience as a disembodied consciousness:
--- existing as a mind without a body

It is vital for each writer to read, cross reference and discuss the others work in order for the story world and narratives to grow and intergrate through collaboration.
