The show was an interesting mix of the uncanny, picturesque and the banal of the everyday. The way normal objects were placed with paintings of normal objects created a sense of the uncanny. A doubling and making still of reality. This perplexing state was heightened with delayed sound and the shows title.
Overall I walked away from the show feeling a little uneasy about reality. I felt as if simple things had inflated meaning and that the banal was not.
The show was good and was very successful at bringing the audience into another state of mind. Its architecture was theatrical and the affect was well brought home.
If I had to be critical I would say that some kind of reveal into the horror that lay beneath the surface of the show would have been interesting.
