PPS: And what about fossil fuel? The only way we can currently support six billion people on this planet is fossil fuel - limited resources. What happens when these things run out? The time limit on them - forecast by scientists - is within the timeframe of this show. What happens if there is major war or natural disaster in major oil drilling areas? Not that far-fetched.
There are other options, but it takes time to replace the infrastructure and there is a lot of economic and political power tied up in physically tradable power sources such as coal/oil/gas/uranium and even if it were possible to transfer the worlds systems to renewable sources, would they be capable of supporting our needs? The needs of the West and the billions of other people out there? How much of the Earth's surface needs to be covered in solar panels and how many of the waterways need to be diverted?
I have proposed a fuel crisis, similar to that of the early 1970s, but on a much greater scale, in my point form draft .
How does this effect the world of Senseless? I believe that at some point this exponential global population growth has to stop and drop significantly, and I believe that this will be beginning to take place in the time frame of Senseless.

Just some other thoughts to bounce around.
Cheers.
